K-12 SCHOOL GROUP EXPERIENCES

Bring your students to the Muskegon Museum of Art for an engaging experience that fosters both creativity and critical thinking. While visiting the MMA students are encouraged to look deeper, question more and think bigger! Each school group experience is tailored to be grade-level appropriate, inspire high levels of engagement and work alongside basic curriculum.

Below you will find the school group basics, 2019-2020 offerings for students, and upcoming exhibitions. You will also find a school group request form and transportation scholarship form, both of which must be filled out and returned to Curator of Education, Courtney Jackson, at cjackson1@muskegonartmuseum.org.

CONNECTING THROUGH ART

Connecting Through Art tours focus on MMA guests with Alzheimer’s and dementia as well as their caregivers. This interactive program was born of the personal experiences of Museum staff/volunteers who have cared for family members and friends with these conditions.
