Muskegon Museum of Art now offers virtual tours for K-12 and college students

The Muskegon Museum of Art now provides virtual school tours with accompanying worksheets for K-12 and college students to enhance art education curriculum in virtual and in-person classrooms in lieu of traditional physical “field trip” museum tours. MMA Curator of Education Courtney Jackson notes, “Our number one priority is keeping you, your students, our docents, and staff safe.”

The virtual video tours, written by MMA docents, are short and meant to be easy to understand. The pdf worksheets can be completed on a computer or Chromebook. Each tour and worksheet pair covers a specific topic such as “How to Look” or “Portraits.”
