With the MMA’s museum expansion entering the final stages of completion, we are extremely excited to roll out a new and much needed refresh of the MMA’s brand identity and online presence.
It’s no secret that big changes have been happening here at the Muskegon Museum of Art. The new expansion (the Bennett-Schmidt Pavilion) will nearly double the size of the museum and bring a whole new experience for visitors.
Additionally, the museum has been increasingly gaining attention on a national scale. In fact, this past summer, we brought in visitors from 46 states and 22 different countries. Heading toward the national spotlight means we needed a brand that doesn’t fall flat when we are in front of national audiences.
So, as you have been watching the MMA grow from the outside, we have been working behind the scenes to elevate the MMA in ways that meet the needs of stepping onto the national stage and shifting from a small-town art museum to a destination location.
A special thanks to the people who helped make this exciting rebrand happen!
