Permanent Collection
The Muskegon Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection began in 1911, a year before the museum was even built. Since then, the MMA has collected over 5,000 works of art and continues to add more each year. The collection includes a diverse range of historical American and European art, as well as contemporary works by up-and-coming artists of today. Here are some highlights of the collection, although there’s much more to see during your next visit!
