Internships

Internships at the Muskegon Museum of Art are a great way to learn and gain experience in the museum industry.

Interns at the MMA typically work in a variety of areas, giving them experiences across the board to get a behind-the-scenes understanding of how the museum operates from different areas and perspectives. Interns work closely with staff members and are given projects ranging from organizing documents, helping in the museum store, posting to social media, and even painting the gallery walls. If there is a specific area of interest, we can accommodate for an intern to focus in a given area.
